The Pod at Jetty Lane - now available
for hire!

The Pod is a recycled shipping container belonging to Jetty Lane. It is available for rent on a sessional basis: Mornings 9am - 12.45pm, Afternoons 1pm - 4.45pm, Evenings 5pm - 9pm.

The Pod consists of one large room 20ft x 16ft with 4 large porthole windows, heating and lighting, a fridge and a sink with warm water.

The provision of simple, basic amenities means that the space is adaptable for a wide range of different hirers and uses. With 4 tables and 8 chairs plus some room to move about in, the container is large enough to hold meetings for a group and small enough for one-to-one lessons. It could be used for music practice, crafts, leisure activities such as board or card games, arts of various kinds, book clubs, therapy groups, support, writing, discussion, community and local business meetings… There are many possible uses!

The cost of hire is £20 per morning, afternoon or evening, or £7 per hour. In view of the very reasonable charge, we ask all payments to be made in advance. Bookings will not be confirmed unless payments have been confirmed, and all bookings are non-refundable.

The Pod is based at the Jetty Lane site near Kingston Field and close to the river in Woodbridge. The address is The Pod, Jetty Lane, The Avenue, Woodbridge, IP12 4BA. Contact info@jettylane.org

Please note! It is a quirky, unusual space. There is a small step up into The Pod, the door is made of solid steel and is heavy. There is no wi-fi and no toilet (public toilets are available nearby in the station car park).

The Pod Coordinator is available to provide information and answer questions. Do contact Cordelia if you have any queries or want to discuss your requirements: info@jettylane.org

Jetty Lane CIO - Registered Charity Number 1184713 - is building a new youth arts hub for Woodbridge and the surrounding area.

Jetty Lane Trustees are very grateful for Gifts in Kind as well as for cash donations. The beautiful solid hardwood floor in The Pod was donated to us by Junckers Ltd, and we are sure it will be appreciated by generations of hirers. More information at www.junckers.co.uk

The iconic containers themselves were donated to us by businessman Eric Reynolds after he acquired the neighbouring Woodbridge Boatyard. They are perfect for our current needs! More information at www.woodbridgeboatyard.com
