New Plans for 2024

Jetty Lane Trustees are excited to let you know that we are due to submit our New Plans - which replace the lost youth centre - for Full Planning Permission in Spring 2024.

The plans involve building a new Youth Hub: a modern, purpose-built, accessible building which will include a permanent home for children and young people’s charity Just42, a permanent home for the Vintage Litter Museum and a good-sized Hall which will be available for local groups to hire by the session. Outside there will be a publicly accessible Playscape which will be specially designed to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and their families as well.

Our project is governed and delivered by environmentally aware and sustainable principles, which will inform our choice of materials, construction type and contractors.

Jetty Lane Trustees: Caroline Rutherford, Cordelia Richman, Sue Gray, Carl Stickley, Debbie Alexander.

Please check back here later as we will post more details as soon as we can (or better still, sign up to receive our regular newsletter which will bring you more news as soon as it happens. You can do this at the top of the Home page).
